Surfing Equipment Hire at Summerleaze Beach in Bude

Based at Summerleaze Beach in Bude, we have a large range of surfing equipment available for hire.

We hire summer and winter wetsuits (all wetsuits are in a full range of sizes), soft (foamy) and semi-soft surfboards for beginners and intermediates and hard surfboards for advanced level surfers. We hire quality bodyboards and on flat or small surf days we hire inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP’S) for you to have fun on. We also have wetsuit boots, gloves and hoods available for those that get a little chilly and for the colder winter months.

As a quality surf school we pride ourselves on giving people excellent instruction and advice. A conversation with us prior to your surfing equipment hire will help you get the best out of the waves on offer. If you’re looking for surfing lessons at the same time then just let us know!

Surf Hire is open from 9:30am to 6pm daily at our Surf Hire Trailer at Summerleaze Beach in Bude.

We are not always at our surfing beach trailers, so if you are looking for surf hire to hire a wetsuit, surfboard or bodyboard then please make sure you have agreed a time with a member of the Freewave team. Prior to booking online, this can be done by speaking with Freewave staff at the beach, by dropping us an email or by giving us a call. We are only a few of minutes away, so even if it looks like we are closed please give us a call and we can usually pop down to assist you.
